"This CD is a continuation of the musical journey we began on the first Norwegian Song recording. Once again, I’ve arranged a selection of traditional Norwegian melodies and folk songs, in addition to two compositions of Edvard Grieg. Our goal has been to interpret these pieces honestly and creatively using the language of jazz and improvisation while striving to preserve the essence of this music. " -Dag
